Another update on a cropped ear kitty - Princess Leia. 😻 For those who don't know, cats sometimes have their ears cropped/tipped while they are being spayed/neutered. It's an easy way to tell that a cat is "fixed" at a glance. Cats that live outdoors, sometimes in colonies, are the ones most likely to have this procedure.

🗨️Thank you for adopting Carina ❤ I adopted my sweet Princess Leia from Georgetown Animal Shelter and she has a cropped ear. We've been together for six years and she's a sweetheart.

Two years ago, Athena was already a senior when a beautiful family adopted her. She was loved fiercely during that time. RIP, sweet one. 🌈🐾

🗨️ We lost Athena this morning. It was tougher then we thought it would be. Wished we could've had her a little longer! She was special and had a rough past and glad we showed her what love was. I'm going to miss her so much!

Thank y'all for giving us the opportunity! It was worth the drive and every minute I got with her!

Cat of the Week😻

🔥Meet Rhaenyra 🐉🧨

This sweet mamma is newly empty nester looking for a forever cozy home. Rhaenyra is also a year old and a little shy. Although she is shy, she likes to watch what is going on from her cozy perch. She prefers quiet environments and gentle interactions, gradually warming up to those who approach her patiently. When she wants attention, she will meow and announce her presence like the royalty she is.

💥Dog of the week💥

Hoot📣🦉

Hoot, the 1-year-old pup, is a hoot who adores affectionate ear rubs and petting sessions. He's mastered the "sit" command but tends to pull on the leash during walks, so a harness is highly recommended for better control. Hoot is a friendly companion who gets along well with some dogs and children, enjoying their playful company. However, his curious nature means he prefers to steer clear of cats during his adventures. With a lively spirit and a love for outdoor activities, Hoot thrives in environments where he can explore and engage with his human companions.
