Growing Melodies Music Therapy

Growing Melodies was founded in 2007 in Georgetown, TX by Danielle Saunders MT-BC and provides music therapy services in portions of Williamson, Travis and Bell Counties. We have provided music therapy to a variety of early childhood, preschool programs, public and private K-12 schools, and individual clients with intellectual differences and service clients through individual & private pay options and those participating in State of TX Medicaid waiver programs.

Danielle received her degree in Music Therapy in 2001 from Anna Maria College, Paxton MA where she also studied piano and flute, she holds the credential of MT-BC (music therapist board certified). She has worked for a variety of human services organizations and schools in both Massachusetts and Texas. This has included experiences in private, public and preschools, mental health facilities, residential programs for children and adults and day programs. Through her work in these various facilities, Danielle became aware of the large numbers of individuals who could not travel for therapy to a facility due to transportation, financial or medical needs. As a result, it became her desire and ambition to travel to those with such a need and to insure that they too received services, no matter what their abilities, medical condition, economic status, or family needs. Believing that EVERYONE deserves music!

UPDATE****As a result of COVID-19 Growing Melodies will be moving many of our services temporarily to a Telehealth model. This will include online adaptive piano lessons, music therapy services and zoom music therapy groups for your school or organization to stay connected. Additionally, we realize that this time can feel isolating for many and we want to offer free opportunities to build community and connect with your family through FB Live Events like our Growing Kids Music Times, Bedtime Story Songs and Musicians Song Share.
