Last week, members of The Arbor team had the opportunity to attend the 34th Annual Texas Lawyers’ Concerned for Lawyers Convention in Austin. Taylor Anne Ramsey and Tiffany Tidwell connected with attorneys, clinicians, and recovery professionals from across Texas while sharing resources and building relationships around mental health, wellness, and recovery.

We were honored to sponsor the conference’s closing Sound Bath experience—an opportunity for attendees to slow down, reflect, and experience the power of experiential healing firsthand. The session provided a meaningful reminder that recovery and wellness involve more than education alone; they also require connection, mindfulness, and opportunities to reconnect with ourselves.

Thank you to Texas Lawyers' Assistance Program for hosting another impactful event and for the important work you do supporting the legal community.

Why does AA work? What does the research actually say?

Join us for a CEU presentation exploring the evidence behind one of the most widely used recovery support programs in the world. This discussion will examine what research tells us about Alcoholics Anonymous, why it continues to help so many people achieve long-term sobriety, and how clinicians can better understand its role in the recovery process.

Friday, June 12th
10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
The Arbor IOP
4601 Spicewood Springs Rd, Bldg 4, Suite 200

The Arbor was proud to be part of this year’s Lone Star Collective Conference — spending time connecting, collaborating, and sharing alongside so many dedicated professionals in the behavioral health community.

Throughout the conference, our Business Development team had the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with providers and partners who share the same mission: helping individuals and families find lasting sobriety and healing.

We’re also incredibly proud of Zack Plyler and Dan Ptak for representing The Arbor as speakers during the event, sharing their experience, insight, and passion with fellow professionals from across the industry.

Thank you to the Lone Star Collective team for hosting such a meaningful event and creating space for connection, education, and collaboration within the recovery community.

We had a great time attending the Austin TAAP Symposium last week.

It’s always valuable to come together with others in the behavioral health and recovery community—sharing ideas, learning from one another, and continuing to grow in the work we’re all passionate about.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to connect with us. We’re grateful to be part of such a strong and dedicated community.

This past Friday, we had the privilege of hosting a powerful Sacred Presence CEU experience in honor of Women’s History Month.

“Resistance as Catalyst: Reclaiming the Power that Drives Change” brought together clinicians and professionals for a meaningful, experiential training focused on reframing resistance as communication rather than noncompliance. Through equine-facilitated work, participants explored relational safety, consent, and the role of pressure in creating healthy, attuned connection.

The depth of engagement, reflection, and connection throughout the morning was truly impactful. We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and contributed to such a thoughtful and inspiring experience.

We look forward to continuing to create spaces like this—where learning, connection, and growth come together in meaningful ways.
