Northern Elementary PTA

The PTA had a staff membership drive to reward the group of staff that all joined would receive an Alani Bar! We had the fifth grade team all sign up the night before launched the drive, and the After School Team all signed up together during open house.
Earlier this week we brought all six teachers their drink of choice to thank them for joining! Fifth grade teachers were actively teaching so I didn’t get a picture, but I was able to meet the After School Shooting Stars staff and get a picture.

We are so grateful for our teachers! We love having as many teachers, staff on our PTA.

The “T” in PTA stands for Teachers—and that includes all educators, administrators, and school support staff.

The PTA General Meetings have been planned for the year. We hope everyone can come join us to help share your voice on how to best support every child that is apart of Northern!

During the first meeting we will be reviewing our budget plans for the year, and updates to our by-laws. In order to cast a vote on the approval of either item you must be a PTA member. Today we treated the staff to floats to celebrate “crushing the first week of school”
We had a great time getting to talk and reconnecting with the teachers. Next time I’ll remember to take photos instead of just talking the whole time 😊
