Georgetown Youth Baseball Association We cater to the development of 4U - 14U age divisions. (The ‘U’ stands for Under not Up).

☀️⚾️ GYBA HYDRATION REMINDER

Coaches & Parents — with the Texas heat in full force, please make hydration a priority at every practice.

Players should arrive already hydrated, bring plenty of water, and continue hydrating after practice is over.

Coaches: Please build frequent water breaks into your practice plans. Kids should never feel like they need to wait or ask permission when they need water.

Parents: Send more water than you think they’ll need. An empty bottle halfway through practice isn’t helping anybody.

Baseball is important. Keeping our players safe is more important.

Hydrate before. Hydrate often. Hydrate after. 💧⚾️

⚾️ PRACTICE FACILITY REMINDER

Please note that GYBA restrooms will not be open during team practices.

Because GYBA cannot continuously monitor restroom conditions, usage, or potential safety concerns during practice hours, keeping the facilities open creates a liability we cannot reasonably manage.

Public City restrooms are available and open for use:
• Near Field 1
• Across from Field 5

Please plan accordingly before practice and help us keep our players, families, and facilities safe.

Check on your coaches - GYBA has been given an entire weekend with nothing to coach. We apologize to their families in advance.

Whether you’re planning how to get your 4U ready for 12U, deciding which coach has the most accurate pitch for 8U or rebuilding a batting order for a game that doesn’t exist yet for 12U… enjoy the unexpected break.

Lean on each other in this time of difficulty. Stay cool, GYBA. We’ll be back to overthinking youth baseball soon enough. 😂⚾️
