The village is here at the North Charleston Colusium for the back to school drive sponsored by the McKinney-Vento Program of Charleston County School District.
We are here to donated vehicle number 152 to a deserving family.

This particular vehicle was sponsored by several local businesses that contributed funds to help with the repaires of it which we really appreciate that as we continue to push for many ways to continue our efforts.

We will have an update on the recipient and the story behind the drive to continue her journey to care and maintain her family!!

An update from the village!!

We have been successful in the past collecting a lot of vehicles over the summer months to prepare us for the fall donations but this year its been a little slow. With the cost of everything going up we have heard many reasons why as some folks would love to donate but are force to repair instead of purchasing. Which we understand. We have been blessed over the years with many many donations and we stand proud of our donated count to be at 153.
We are looking foward to hopefully being able to complete our 12 days of Christmas Car donations this December 2026 but we need your help with helping g us get the word out about our continued mission and future goals in helping folks in need!
We still currently can not open our portal to take in applications because it will just be giving false hope. We have still 3 donations to take place this year before we get to our December donations and those individuals are patiently waiting and we are working as best we can with what we have!

Assistance that would help us out

**Georgetown repair shop
3500.00 per month with utilities and insurances
We would love to find a few companies that would help us to cover this cost as it has been a personal experience for our Founder since February 2025
This shop has allowed for a huge storage field and shelter to repair vehicles vs the backyard operation we ran for almost 4 1/2 years (which we may have to return to)

**Towing equipment
We have 1 of our trucks back up and running but due to some extensive repairs we had to part ways with our Rollback which was huge in collections of hard to get vehicles. We are looking to replace it with another soon that won't cost us as much to repair often
This will help us to travel long distance again to recover vehicles that are donated in our surrounding states such as Georgia,Flordia,N.Carolina,Virginia and Alabama (all which have donated many and currently we have over 16 in these combined states to collect)

We are also looking for someone that will be willing to help assist us with some Grant Writting.
For the complete time of operation of Middleton's Village To Village Foundation we have been dependent on donors like you and the help from Middleton's Village Barbecue LLC to keep this mission going, we hope that maybe some sponsors or federal assistance will recognize our efforts and help us to continue our goals of assisting the communities of South Carolina and beyond!!!

When she's not cooking she's towing. Natalie Delions a strong partner in both Middleton's Village Barbecue LLC and the Foundation she keeps the drive in the heart of our Founder Eliot Desmound Middleton to continue pushing.

Tons of behind the scenes of sacrifices of family time and personal funds, they both refuse to give up on helping the communities of South Carolina!

A message from Middleton’s Village To Village Foundation:

Over the past several years, our foundation has been blessed with the support of generous donors, volunteers, and community partners who have helped us provide reliable transportation to individuals and families in need.

This year, one of our major sources of support was unable to contribute, and the impact has been significant. As a result, we have seen a decline in both monetary donations and vehicle donations, making it more challenging to continue the work at the level our community has come to expect.

While this has affected our momentum, it has not changed our mission.

We remain committed to helping individuals gain access to transportation that can connect them to employment, medical appointments, education, and other essential opportunities. We believe that together, our community can help us continue changing lives—one vehicle at a time.

We have reached a milestone: 151 vehicles donated to individuals in need across South Carolina. 🚗

The 151st car was donated to a Chick-fil-A employee who had been relying on rideshares to get to work, while preparing to welcome a newborn this summer. The donation was made possible thanks to Angela, a coworker who noticed the transportation challenge and brought it to the foundation’s attention.
