Stop by the Pantry Sunday-Friday 11am-2pm and lets get your furrbaby fitted for a harness! To say that the community comes through in our time of need is an understatement ❤️

When our shelves start to look bare, it can be hard to have to ask for help. As a 100% donation based non-profit, there are times inventory gets low and that leaves us feeling pretty vulnerable.

Because of our amazing community and their generosity, our cat food shelf went from nearly empty today to full (and more is on the way!) This means families that come to us in a time of need can receive food and essential supplies they rely on to give their furrbabies what they require to be both happy and healthy!

From the bottom of our hearts here at Furrbaby Food Pantry ...You make us stronger as a community each and every day! We couldn’t do what we do without you! Cheers to helping families and their pets in need!

The world lost a legend today 💔

Enjoy these fun facts about the impact Dolly Parton made not only on our hearts but lives of many animals.

🐶 She created Doggy Parton partly to help rescue animals. In 2022, Dolly launched her Doggy Parton pet clothing, toy, and accessory line. A portion of the proceeds supports Willa B. Farms Animal Rescue, a Tennessee nonprofit that takes in homeless, neglected, abused, and abandoned animals and gives them a safe place to live and recover. Dolly said her love for pets inspired the project.

🦅 She and Dollywood have supported bald eagle conservation for 35 years. In 1991, Dollywood partnered with the American Eagle Foundation to establish Eagle Mountain Sanctuary, which provided a home for bald eagles that couldn't survive if released into the wild.

🦅 That partnership helped rehabilitate and release eagles. The American Eagle Foundation's work associated with Dollywood has included rescuing and rehabilitating injured and orphaned birds of prey. The foundation reported that more than 180 bald eagles had been released into the wild in the Smoky Mountains through its conservation efforts, with Dollywood serving as a major corporate supporter.

❤️ She helped give permanently injured birds a lifelong home. Eagles that couldn't safely return to the wild were cared for as educational ambassador animals, receiving food, exercise, veterinary care, enrichment, and specialized accommodations.

🦋 Her connection to wildlife even extends to butterflies. The American Eagle Foundation's newer conservation campus includes a way station for migrating monarch butterflies, created in honor of Dolly and her famous lifelong love of butterflies.

A Recent update: on August 21, 2026, Dollywood and the American Eagle Foundation announced that the eagles formerly housed at Eagle Mountain Sanctuary will permanently live at the foundation's 50-acre conservation campus after the Dollywood sanctuary was damaged by a storm. Dollywood is continuing its conservation and educational partnership with the organization.
