🌧️🐾 The Furrbaby Food Pantry of Georgetown is fully stocked with large and medium dog raincoats!

These aren't your average raincoats—they feature:
✅ Face and eye protection
✅ Leash access slit
✅ Elastic leg bands to help keep the coat in place
✅ Bright yellow color for visibility and safety during stormy walks
✅ Handy pockets for treats, waste bags, or other essentials

💙 All for just $5 each!

Stop by the pantry Sunday through Friday from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM and grab one before they're gone.

🎉 BONUS! This Saturday, June 20, we're opening for a special shopping day from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM for shopping only! Bring by any donations you may have!

We know not everyone can make it during our regular weekday hours, so we're opening our doors to give more supporters a chance to shop our new and gently used pet supplies while helping fuel our mission.
Every $5 purchase truly makes a difference and helps fund emergency pet food assistance for families in need.

Yes... Saturday! 🎉 At Furrbaby Food Pantry !

We're normally closed on Saturdays for off-siteevents or a day of rest for our hardworking volunteers, but so much of our funding comes from our amazing shoppers, so we thought—why not open our doors for a special shopping day?

Whether you can't usually make it during our regular hours or you're just looking for some great pet finds, this Saturday, June 20th, is for you!

*Save time in line and PRE REGISTER your pets! Text or Email (choose one-not both) and let us collect your information in advance (especially if you have multiple pets).
*Pre Registration will close on Monday June 15th at 6pm - after that you will be able to register in person on the 17th.
*Additional Services Available with No Appointment Needed:
WE CHIP PETS will be there for all your pet's microchipping needs
Sassy Jo's Pet Grooming LLCwill be available for nail trims and ear cleanings.

🐾 Did You Know? 🐾

We are lucky to have two amazing volunteers here at Furrbaby Food Pantry that you've probably seen before — Liz and Gwen! 💙

Not only do they spend their time helping families and pets at the pantry, but every Thursday after we close, they head downtown to volunteer with Helping Hands of Georgetown, TX helping distribute food and supplies to members of our community.

On top of that, they also hand out dry pet food and pet supplies to unhoused individuals with pets, helping make sure their furry companions are cared for too.

They have been doing this for several years, and we truly can't thank them enough for their dedication, compassion, and willingness to serve our community.

So when you donate people food, canned goods, hygiene items, baby supplies, pet food, or other supplies to the pantry, know that those donations will be distributed to help support Helping Hands and the unhoused community every Thursday.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has donated so far to help Safe in Austin
Your generosity is making a difference during an incredibly difficult time.

After speaking with a volunteer yesterday, we learned that some of their current needs include:
🐴 Livestock feed and hay
🧽 Cleaning supplies and disinfectants
🦠 Mold and mildew sprays due to the damp conditions
🧻 Paper towels
🧺 Laundry detergent
🐶 Puppy p*e pads
🛏️ Blankets, sheets, towels, and bedding
🔌 Skilled volunteers, including electricians, if assistance is still needed

As with most rescues recovering from flooding and water damage, there are many ongoing needs, and every donation helps.

Donations can be dropped off directly at Safe in Austin. However, if it's more convenient, you are also welcome to drop items off at Furrbaby Food Pantry and we will coordinate getting them to Safe in Austin.

We want to make donating as easy and accessible as possible for our community.
