Friends of the Georgetown Mounted Police is looking for local individuals who would be interested in volunteering with opportunities to serve on our board of directors.

We are looking for volunteers that have a passion for horses that can assist with community outreach and fundraising.

A huge thank you to our amazing community for a successful weekend of fundraising at the Festival of the Horse - Best of the Bluegrass . We raised a total of $1,092!

We couldn't have done this without you, or the businesses who donated baskets to our silent auction.

We're all setup and ready for the Festival of the Horse - Best of the Bluegrass. It's going to be a beautiful weekend! Make sure to stop by and place your bid on a basket! All proceeds will go to the Georgetown Mounted Police.

The basket includes 4 general admission tickets to visit the park. The Kentucky Horse Park is a must see attraction for horse lovers of all ages!

Silent auction will be held this Friday and Saturday (Sept 8-9) during Festival of the Horse. We will be set up across from the Georgetown/Scott County Museum.

There's still time for you to help!

We're accepting donations to put into the silent auction to bid on during Festival of the Horse - Best of the Bluegrass. This raises money for the Georgetown Mounted Police which is run 100% on donations provided from our community. This is a great opportunity for you to support our officers and get the word out about your business. We will have a list of donors at our table and on social media.

Basket includes a hat, mug, shirt, a gift card that can be used at various downtown Georgetown businesses, and more!
