Something bigger was forming… we just didn’t know it yet.
Fore Good didn’t begin in a boardroom. It began on fairways, in friendships, and in a shared belief that gathering people together can change lives.
Seven years ago, one of our members organized a small golf tournament inspired by a desire to support families facing breast cancer. It wasn’t about scale or recognition — it was about showing up for people walking through something hard. The impact was immediate and deeply personal.
A few years later, a simple birthday celebration became something more. Instead of gifts, friends came together around a cause supporting the families of fallen and disabled service members. What was meant to be a casual outing revealed something powerful: when people are invited into generosity, they show up.
The spirit of giving was already woven into our homes. For more than fifteen years, one husband has participated in an annual golf outing that selects a charitable focus each year. Another family has spent over a decade helping organize a community tournament honoring veterans and their families.
Individually, these efforts made a difference. Together, they revealed a calling.
We saw firsthand that golf tournaments and community events are more than a day on a course — they are catalysts. They create connection. They spark generosity. They build bridges between those who want to help and those who need support.
This didn’t start as a nonprofit.
It started with a question: What if we used what we already love… to do something that truly matters?
Different events. Different causes. Same realization:
When you bring people together with intention, impact follows.
Over time, we stopped seeing these as separate efforts and began to see something bigger forming — a consistent ability to gather community and turn that momentum into meaningful charitable impact.
So, we chose to build it intentionally.
Fore Good was formed to create and lead fundraising events that generate measurable impact throughout Central Texas and beyond. We design the experiences, steward the funds raised, and thoughtfully determine where proceeds can do the most good — particularly in causes that honor sacrifice, strengthen families, and serve our community.
This isn’t about hosting tournaments for others.
It’s about creating a sustainable vehicle for generosity.
It’s about multiplying the good we’ve already seen happen.
What started as individual acts of service has become a shared mission — creating opportunities, building community, and turning moments into lasting impact.
One event at a time.
Because we’ve seen what happens when people gather with purpose.
And we’re ready to keep doing good — together.
