Thank you girls for all of your hard work, your dedication , your love of softball and one another.

We had a great ride with many individual and team highlights.

Had a long day and night of fun in Bertram. Shout out to the Next Level Bandits community for quickly putting a tournament together after the rain canceled us in Taylor.
At the park at 8am home by midnight. Just another day in the world of travel softball.

The things these kids and families have to endure in a day, and or weekend is insane. It just doesn’t make any sense. Yet we do it anyway. Almost every weekend.

Sure helps to make it to the championship game after dropping game 1 of bracket play. 3 straight wins where we got to exercise some ghosts of softball past.

Ladies showed grit. Played with heart, and nearly took it all.

For a moment there, it felt like real high-level softball in terms of intensity and competition. Those are the games that we will remember. The close ones, against good teams when your the underdog and you have nothing to lose.

Always pour your heart into it, even when it doesn’t work out in your favor, at least you’ll know you left it on the field. I know we can live with that.

Good job ladies!!!

4 wins 3 losses in Axtell this weekend.

The important takeaway was understanding where exactly we need to get better.

Only 4 tournaments left this Spring/ Summer season. Sure does go by fast.

This is a young developing team, and there has been so much growth from last year. These kids put in work and it shows out there on the dirt.

Had so much fun watching this group this weekend. I told our team that sometimes the best part is just watching them do their thing. It’s hard not be a fan sometimes.
Finished the weekend 4-2 in Tomball.

Would love to have made it a little farther, but that’s the way the game goes. Still working out the finer details. But this group, every tournament they are growing.

We continue to make more plays, exciting plays, highlight plays than we ever have. Mistakes are still there, but every team goes through that. But mistakes one day eventually start to become less and less with hard work and consistency. And we are seeing that 💯💯💯💯💯

We were lucky to get 4 games in today out in Taylor. Sunday brackets are rained out. 😞

We had a very rough morning in our first two games. We were sluggish and sloppy and just couldn’t stabilize the ship on defense.

But after a short break, the ladies regrouped, and beat one of the best teams in the tournament and then won again against a game Stix squad after being down 5-0.

Every weekend we have a few players, who are more than deserving of some recognition. Today was no exception. We had some great offense out there at times.

But this kid shined in the circle, the plate and on the field.

Congrats Maddie! Illusions chain winner!
