For our second Camp Acacia camper highlight, we wanted to introduce you to Sarah. Sarah has attended Camp Acacia for a few years now and has loved every minute of it! Her favorite activity at camp is the pool, with kayaking coming in as a close second! Camp Acacia has helped Sarah gain independence and led her to enjoy being outside and trying new things! Sarah’s goals for the 2024 summer are to gain more confidence in her abilities and to have a blast at summer camp! We wanted to give a big thanks to Sarah’s mom for talking to us about Sarah.

Meet a Camp Acacia camper! This month we wanted everyone to meet Wilbur. He came to Camp Acacia in 2019 and has attended camp every year since! Some of his favorite camp activities are going down the zipline and splashing in the camp pool. We talked with his mom about how Camp Acacia has helped Wilbur, and she said that camp has encouraged him to keep up with a daily routine, led him to try new things and inspired him to be more social. Wilbur has made incredible bonds with his past counselors and hopes that they will be there to support him this summer. He is excited to go kayaking with his counselor and to try any new things that Camp Acacia has to offer! We are so excited to see Wilbur this summer!
