Showing up matters – and high school students across Western Benton County proved it this spring.

The Western Benton County Partnership invested $10,000 to reward students from Siloam Springs, Gentry, Decatur and Gravette who demonstrated strong attendance during the second half of the school year. Across two days, the initiative awarded more than $7,500 in prizes and gift cards, along with multiple $1,000 cash drawings for qualifying students.

The program was designed to encourage students as they continue preparing for their future, while also highlighting what can happen when schools, local leaders and community partners work together to support the next generation.

Next week the WBCP is excited to reward students from Western Benton County who have had perfect attendance in the back end of the year! They have been working hard and we wanted to encourage them as they add skills, knowledge and prepare to be the future leaders of the community!

It was such a joy to welcome Senator Tom Cotton for our Executive Leadership Speaking Series this past weekend. A big thank you to John Brown University for being our host as we brought in dozens and dozens of Western Benton County citizens to connect with Senator Cotton on a range of issues happening across the world and down to the local level.

Win over $10,000 in cash and gift cards!

Spread the word to the high school families in Western Benton County!

Ensuring our kids are in school growing and learning is essential for their development and for a healthy community. The Western Benton County Partnership wants to incentivize that through this initiative with the school districts.

All students who don’t have any unexcused absences between today and 4/10/26 are eligible to win!

There will be assemblies towards the end of the year to hand out the cash and prizes to the lucky winners- all you have to do is show up to school!

At our Board Meeting this week, we are thankful to hear from local western Benton County farmers on how the state of Oklahoma Lawsuit against the poultry industry is hurting their family farms. The WBCP is proud to support our agriculture community.

What a beautiful day in Western Benton County at the first annual Spring to Spring - Bike Ride event. Dozens and dozens of riders conquered the course! Mark your calendars for next year around this time.

This event aimed to connect all the western communities and highlight the beauty of their rural trails, wonderful downtowns and great parks!
