We are so grateful for such an encouraging Parent Night at Brunner Grounds. Seeing parents lean into the vision sets the stage for a great year.

Now, the countdown is on for the first official student gathering on September 16 at 7:00 pm.

We are diving into the book Do Hard Things by Alex and Brett Harris. This is a book that challenges students to reject low expectations and step out with purpose.

We can’t wait to see everyone!

Did the heat suddenly open up your calendar tonight? ☀️

We know a lot of practices, games, and activities have been canceled this evening, so if you suddenly find yourself with a free night, come spend it with us!

Rise Up | Parents Night is TONIGHT from 7:00–8:30 PM at Brunner Grounds.

Parents, come meet our team and hear what’s ahead for Rise Up this fall. Students are welcome too, and we’ll have games in the gym while parents meet.

Parents Night is TONIGHT.

Doors and dessert open at 7:00 PM at Brunner Grounds, and we’ll get started at 7:15.

Come meet the Rise Up team, hear what’s ahead for this school year, learn what your students will be walking through, and spend the evening with other Rise Up families.

Students are part of the night too, so bring the whole family. And if you know someone who could use a place like Rise Up, this is a great night to bring them along.

Rise Up | Parents Night is Wednesday at Brunner Grounds. Doors and dessert open at 7:00 PM, we’ll gather at 7:15, and wrap by 8:30.

Parents will get a look at where Rise Up is headed this year, what we’ll be teaching and why, how we keep students safe, and how families can be part of what’s happening. Students will spend part of the night together in the gym, and we’ll finish the evening all together.

Whether your family has been with us since May or you’ve never walked through the doors, you’re invited. Bring a friend and bring their family.

If your schedule only allows you to come for part of the night, come for part of it. We’d love to have you.

Video games are cool. Shopping is fun. But we believe there is something more for you. It’s time to reject low expectations, step out of our comfort zones, and do hard things for a greater purpose.

Sound intriguing? A little scary, maybe? Then you should grab a friend and challenge yourself a little at RISE UP Student Ministry. We meet on the first and third Wednesday of the month, beginning September 2nd at 7:00 pm.

We’re kicking off the 2026–27 year on Sept 2 at 7:00 PM with Parents Night.

Parents Night is your chance to hear the story of what God did this spring and summer, meet the team investing in your student every week, and see where Rise Up is headed this fall and beyond. We will share the full fall calendar, walk you through what Wednesday nights actually look like, and give you a clear picture of the ministry your student is part of.

One more summer night together! ☀️

Join us this Friday for our Rise Up End of Summer Gathering at Tom and Melissa Smith’s home. We’ll have pond swimming, water games, basketball, soccer, a bonfire, s’mores, and plenty of time to hang out.

**Friday, August 7 | 6:30–9:00 PM**
5709 N. Genoa Clay Center Rd., Curtice

Hot dogs, watermelon, water, and s’mores will be provided. If you’re able, please bring a side dish, bag of chips, or drinks to share. If bringing drinks, please also bring cups.

Students should bring a towel and a life jacket if under age 12. Girls should wear a one-piece swimsuit or a T-shirt over a two-piece. Guys should wear swim trunks.

Friends are welcome. We can’t wait to see everyone Friday!
