Bethany is a LCC (Lutheran Church Charities)Comfort Dog - we wanted to share what she was able to bring to the inmates as well as the chance to get a photo 💙

Several inmates wanted to have a picture with me for their families. Rules prevent any visitors from having phones or electronics, but special arrangements for a photographer were made on my most recent visit. I got to pose indiviually with many men who requested a photo. It was a special moment for many, including me. ❤️❤️🐾🐾

We just wrapped up our final visit of the summer to Norman B. Barr Camp and our Canines for Christ therapy dogs did what they do best - brought smiles, comfort, joy, and lots of love to so many! 🐶

These visits are such a sweet reminder of how something as simple as a gentle dog, a kind word, and a little time can brighten someone’s day.
