The question I get asked the most... what actually happens in a Women’s Circle?
The truth is hard to explain because it truly is a lived experience and no one circle is the same. But the essence for me always remains.
Circle is a place to come home in. It’s a held space where you can be witnessed without being fixed. You can listen without anything being required of you other than your loving presence. It’s connection and stories and being humbled by our humanness. It’s tender and yet it can also be deeply powerful. It’s shared experiences and yet also reverence for our unique paths. It has a grounded structure with the possibility of magic and mystery.
Every person who holds space in the circle brings their own unique flavor, and in my spaces I draw on my wellspring of tools that have been gathered over time. You can expect gentle somatic movements or breath-work to help you land. Questions to contemplate. Some form of education about physiology/cycles/female nervous system to spark curiosity. Spoken sharing if you wish. Humor. And good tea.
Each group that gathers brings a new transmission and what unfolds always brings me closer to awe of women and this experience of life.
There are 2 spots left in Thursday’s Women’s Circle at 6:30pm at Yoga Sisterhood. Are you curious? Comment circle below and I can send you the link directly.
