🌲 November Cub Scout Adventures – “Into the Woods”! 🌲

We’re kicking off an exciting month focused on outdoor adventure and nature exploration. Our theme is “Into the Woods,” where Scouts will learn about observation, respect for nature, and outdoor skills.

📅 Meeting Schedule:
✅ Week 1 – Nature Detectives
📍 Visitors Center at the lake | ⏰ 6:30 PM
🔎 Nature scavenger hunt + “Leave No Trace” and outdoor safety
🎨 Cubs will draw an animal or plant they discovered

✅ Week 2 – Hike & Nature Journals
📍 Visitors Center | ⏰ 6:00 PM
🚶‍♂️ 1-mile hike on the lighted trail – dress for the weather!
🦁 Lions/Tigers: identify 3 living things
🐺 Wolves: record 2 hiking safety tips
🐻 Bears: find animal signs & discuss conservation

✅ Week 3 – Recognition Night!
🏅 Celebrate achievements and plan for December fun!
