In Little Miss Sunshine, the Hoovers are a dysfunctional family who decide to take a trip across states in a broken-down van to get little Olive Hoover to her beauty competition. Little do they know that Grandpa will die on the trip, and they steal his body to take him with them. This crazy crew did this little-known musical with such care and commitment. William Finn's score is hilarious, and this started the Theatre444 journey of doing the shows no one will do. It was challenging, and we lost a good friend and castmate along the way, but the journey is always the teacher. 🎭😍 www.theatre444.com

In 2017, the cast of Ordinary Days had no place to rehearse. So we took turns at some houses and basements to get it right. 🥹🥰🎭 What we do for the stage...

After the success of our first season, we decided to just keep going! We had no place to go, so in 2017 we ended up at a small winery on Seneca Lake. Ordinary Days was a powerhouse small cast that charmed audiences even in the most UNordinary ways!

The Lovely Greg Maddock was a fan favorite as Snail in A Year with Frog and Toad in 2016. To this day kids who saw that show are walking the snail walk! Our history is long and pretty funny!

Spring Awakening made us realize that we could continue to explore what we could do for the community. Our second venture in 2016 was A Year with Frog & Toad. Partnering with Geneva Reads, we went to the schools and read to children and were able to give out hundreds of copies of the storybook. Children loved this show, but what we were surprised about was how many adults loved it too!

Spring Awakening was our very first venture in July of 2016. This young group of brave artists stepped out on the ledge and brought the Finger Lakes a show they had never seen.

Everyone has a story...here is ours. Back in 2016 a small group of artists decided that we were going to start a company of our own that we could lead down a path of resistance. We wanted to do work that was edgy, thought-provoking, and that would speak to our community in a different way. We weren't trying to replace other groups, but adding to the rich art culture that is the FingerLakes. Like true Bohemians...We gathered all that we had and started to find our way.
