I had the sweetest opportunity to donate stuffed animals to the Geneva County Sheriff’s Office recently! 💛🐻 A huge thank you to Sheriff Tony Helms and Chief Deputy Danny Staley for taking the time to meet with me.

These stuffed animals may seem small, but they can mean the world to a child facing a scary or uncertain moment. My hope is that when deputies come across children in difficult situations, these comfort animals will bring a smile, a sense of safety, and a reminder that they are not alone. ✨

This is the heart behind Klara Cares – Comfort for Kids in Crisis. It’s about spreading kindness, comfort, and hope—one stuffed animal at a time. 💛

A huge thank you to Chief Stokes and the Samson Police Department for welcoming us and allowing us to drop off stuffed animals for the kids they may encounter while serving and protecting their city 💙🚓🐻

Through Klara Cares – Comfort for Kids in Crisis, our goal is to bring a little light into tough situations. We know that sometimes children face scary or uncertain moments, and something as simple as a stuffed animal can make a world of difference.

✨ “A stuffed animal may seem small, but in a scary moment it can bring a child comfort, courage, and remind them they’re not alone.” ✨

I’m so grateful for the support of our local first responders who go above and beyond every day—not only to keep our community safe, but also to show kindness and compassion to the youngest members of our community. Together, we can spread comfort and care where it’s needed most.

Last week, I was able to deliver two tubs full of stuffed animals to Wiregrass Medical Center thanks to the generosity of our community. 💕

🌟 Meet Klara James Horne — Little Miss Geneva County! 👑

As your Little Miss Geneva County, Klara James is using her crown and her heart to make a difference. She’s starting a special project called Klara Cares — a mission to bring comfort to kids in crisis by donating stuffed animals to local police departments, EMS, DHR, and hospitals.

Her goal is simple: to help children feel safe, seen, and supported during life’s scariest moments — whether it’s a car accident, a medical emergency, or a difficult home situation.

With each cuddly animal, Klara James is spreading kindness, one hug at a time. 💛🧸
