Greetings friends and neighbors, It’s going to be a gorgeous Sunday and the only thing that will make the day better is to see your warm smiling faces at our St Vincent DePaul DeJaVu Thrift shop, 630-232-6621 located at 427 S 4th street across from the Geneva French Market. For all you tea lovers we have a special offering of over 30 mid century tea pots from countries around the world and as always great , clothing, artwork, kitchenware, jewelry and unique finds. We open the shop and start unloading the first truck when the volunteers arrive usually by 7:30 and the second truck around 8. We start picking up by 1 and we close at 2. We do not hold or presell anything or negotiate prices so first come gets to claim an item. Cash, checks credit & debit cards are accepted but cash is always appreciated if possible as it saves the charity the 3% card fee. For $50 dollars we can drop off your larger items locally often on Sunday after your purchase. Please continue to hold off donating clothing as we are out of room and overstocked. We will however accept blankets, spreads, quilts, sheets, pillowcases, towels and hand cloths which are always appreciated in excellent condition as we re-donate to local families in the area. BTW it will be National Chocolate Ice Cream Day! You are all wonderful, thank you for your continued support and God bless you and your families.

This weekend along with all our special shop and furniture treasures we will be having our second outdoor jewelry display of vintage, costume, fine silver & gold items with a private sales area and volunteers to assist you. The only thing that will sparkle more than our adornments will be your lovely eyes. It also happens to be National Macaroon day, yum how nice with your tea or coffee. The French Market a few steps away will get you your fresh fix of food vegetables, flowers and more. We open up and start unloading the first truck when the volunteers arrive usually by 7:30 and the second truck around 8. We start picking up by 1 and we close at 2. We do not hold or presell anything or negotiate prices so first come gets to claim an item. Our safety has been earned by so many that have given their lives for this blessed country so that we might have this gift of freedom. If time allows we at the St Vincent DePaul DejaVu Thrift shop & parking lot sale charity, 630-232-6621 would love to see your smiling faces Sunday morning at 427 S 4th street across from the Geneva French Market. The weather is forecast to be beautiful. We open the shop and unload the first truck when the volunteers show up usually by 7:30 and the second truck at 8. Pick up starts by 1 and we close at 2. Items are not pre sold or held and we do not negotiate price so its first come gets to claim an item. We accept credit/debit, cash & checks but prefer cash as the charity saves the 3% service fee. We can drop off items locally for a $50 fee often on Sunday after your purchase. A few housekeeping items, We will be closed on Monday May 25th and are currently not accepting clothes until further notice. Oops! You forgot mother’s day last Sunday well here’s something special. We have lots of bowling balls with bags that would be a nice gift. Come by and grab one surprise your wife and take her out for a few games, a cold beer and some laughs this week. She will always remember this gift. If she’s not a bowler, they make great lawn art or you can partially bury one on each corner of your driveway as a marker. We will have coffee, cider and cookies on the Geneva shop porch to greet you. As always we will have new furnishings on display and there will be many new collections of jewelry you’re sure to enjoy. Come relax & spend an hour of your special day with your friends at the shop, 630-232-6621. Dear friends and neighbors while you finish counting your winnings from derby day and box up your chapeau and store the parasol for next year it’s time to get ready for Mother’s Day. We always have a wonderful selection of beautiful jewelry pieces and unique home furnishings that will make a special gift for your mom and we will have hot coffee and cider and cookies to welcome you. This week we picked up an amazing Sheraton sideboard a Karl Alexander Landscape a Kent Coffey Perspecta line of MCM bedroom pieces and a huge ornate Rococo style gilded frame wall mirror you are sure to enjoy. Our volunteer operated St Vincent DePaul DejaVu Thrift shop, 630-232-6621 and Sunday parking lot sale is located at 427 S 4th street across from the Geneva French market. We start unloading and open the shop when the volunteers show up usually by 7:30 and start picking up by 1 and are closed at 2. We do not pre-sell or hold items so first come gets to claim an item. Come early for the best choices and for a small fee usually $50 we can drop off your purchase to your home, often on Sunday. Yowser Yowser Yowser friends what a beautiful Spring day we are going to have Sunday. Put on some comfortable shoes and go for a stroll in beautiful Geneva. Please visit with us at the St Vincent DePaul DejaVu Thrift shop charity, 630-232-6621 located at 427 S 4th street right across from the Geneva French Market. On Sundays we start unloading the first truck and open the shop when the volunteers show up usually by 7:30 and complete the second truck around 8ish. We appreciate it if you are early that you do not stand in the street behind the trucks for safety and please be mindful of the volunteers moving the heavy furniture. We start picking up around 1 and close at 2. During the week we are open 10-4 Monday through Saturday. Items are not held or pre-sold so first come gets to claim the piece. Let a volunteer know if you are here for a specific item when you arrive if you do not see it. There will be lots of new jewelry pieces with a special offering of vintage sterling silver items. Several selected china sets will be also be available at 50% off. We accept cash, checks credit/debit cards but cash is always appreciated if possible as it saves the charity card fees. On larger items we can arrange a local drop off to your home for $50 often on Sunday. A few volunteer housekeeping requests. When you donate please help us out and not leave stacks of loose items on the porch but use 13 gallon white bags or small and medium boxes. Salutations dear friends we are off and running again on our 13th season of Sunday parking lot sales across the street from the Geneva French Market. Our St Vincent DePaul DejaVu Thrift shop is located at 427 S. 4th streets and is open Monday through Saturday 10-4 and from Spring to Fall we open on Sundays, 630-232-6621. On Sundays we start unloading the trucks and open the shop when the volunteers show up usually by 7:30 and complete the second truck around 8. We appreciate it if you are an early visitor that you do not stand in the street behind the trucks for safety or slow the volunteers from moving the heavy furniture. There will be hot cider, coffee and cookies on the porch to greet you again this week. We do not hold or pre sell items so first come gets to claim an item. Let a volunteer know if you are here for a specific item when you arrive if you do not see it. We accept cash, checks credit and debit, cash is always appreciated when possible as it saves the charity card fees. On larger items we can arrange a local drop off to your home often on Sunday for $50 or on the next Wednesday morning. We start picking up around 1 and are closed by 2.
