Due to the constant uncertainly surrounding the possibility of becoming a VFW District Organization, the VFW Riders regrettably have decided to disband.
We would like the Thank VFW Post 6846, for allowing us the opportunity these past 9 years. We truly appreciated the Support we received from the Regulars, the Auxiliary, the Color Guard and the Boosters.
We would also like to Thank all of our
Friends/Motorcycle Organizations/Charities here in Ashtabula County for standing beside us - we couldn't have done all we accomplished without each and every one of you!!
We had a turbulent start, but, against all odds, we did establish the VFW Riders Post 6846. We worked hard to do whatever we could for our Veterans and our Community. We enjoyed a terrific 9 years run, but, it has become apparent that the constant changes differ from the direction we wanted for our Organization.
So, with heavy hearts, the VFW Riders Post 6846 would like to say - GoodBye and Thanks for the Memories.

The VFW Riders Post 6846 visited the Ashtabula Dream Center and presented them with a check for $1000!!
The Dream Center recently moved and WOW! Their new place is AWESOME!!! The Dream Center is a non-profit soup kitchen, food pantry, and clothing bank located at 5028 Benefit Avenue, Ashtabula, OH.
The Riders have enjoyed helping the Dream Center whenever possible and we are THRILLED with their new location!!

The VFW Riders, Post 6846, donated a check for $1000 to H20 Missions in Jefferson.
In the past few years, ANYTIME a Veteran approached the VFW Riders needing a ramp built, we reached out to to H20 Missions and they ALWAYS came through with a ramp!! The Riders would then give a donation for each ramp built for a Vet!!
H20 Missions operates strictly on donations and their Builders are all Volunteers!!

The VFW Riders, Post 6846 donated a check for $500 to the Ashtabula Feed Our Vets food pantry. Feed Our Vets, located at 433 Center Street, Ashtabula, distributes nutritious food to our Veterans & Veterans' Families on the 3rd Saturday of every month.
In the past months they have served 350+ Veterans at each Distribution!!! The Riders are thankful that we are able to offer Support to this Veteran Organization!

The VFW Riders, Post 6846, recently donated $500 to the Blue Star Mothers, Ohio Chapter 057, Ashtabula County.
The Blue Star Mothers are a Favorite of the VFW Riders and we are always Proud to help them as they strive to Support the Military, Guard, Reserves, and Veterans.
