What happens when Lean stops being theory and becomes practical?

At our recent Lean Made Practical workshop, participants explored real-world ways to identify waste, improve communication, and simplify work processes.

Some of the biggest takeaways included recognizing hidden workflow inefficiencies, reducing non-value-added activities, and understanding how communication impacts performance across teams.

A few participant reflections:

💬 "Communication is a lot more relevant to work than we think. It makes everything flow."
💬 "Keep it as simple as possible."
💬 "It pays to think outside the box."

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a day of learning, discussion, and practical problem-solving.

Thank you to Pat Steele, Focal Point Business Coaching, for facilitating!

Most leaders don't need another productivity system. They need a better way to decide what deserves their time.

On November 5th, Annie Gleason, Ed.S. leads a hands-on forum for manufacturing leaders who carry it all.

You'll leave with a sharper read on your biggest drains and practical ways to delegate, simplify and cut.

Complimentary for manufacturing & industrial services executives and their invited guests. 🎟️ https://web.viaassn.org/atlas/events/91455367/details

Don't let objections rule your conversations.

Our next Sales Lunch & Learn on 10/28 teaches you that objections aren't random, because they have causes. When you understand what's driving resistance, you can use targeted questions to address it early.

Manufacturing Month continues, and so does GCAMP's mission!

Read about GCAMP's recent experience leading almost 200 students through IMTS starting on page 33 of the Ezine: https://canva.link/lz9g3ocgd31hz7v

IMTS may only happen every other year, but for a student who discovers a new possibility there, the future can start now.

Every November, we set aside one morning to look ahead together, and this is one of our favorites ☕📈

We're so glad to welcome back Jason Turner, Chief Investment Strategist at Great Lakes Advisors, to share his outlook for 2027 at our Economic Forecast Breakfast. After his keynote, a panel will dig into what it all means for manufacturers here in our region.
