HAVE A FOOD SAFE SUMMER

128,000 estimated annual hospitalizations from foodborne illnesses
Basic Tips:
Clean: surfaces, utensils and hands with soap and water.
Separate: plates and utensils for raw meat/poultry, for cooked meat/poultry, and for ready-to-eat foods/raw veggies.
Cook: use a food thermometer and cook the burgers to 160F. (see below for other meats).
Chill: raw and prepared foods promptly if not consuming after cooking.

Geneva Senior Center was honored to be part of the 16th. Annual Senior Citizens Conference. An amazing event for the seniors, and great networking opportunity. Thank you to everyone for all you do for our senior communities.
