Dear Eastlake Marina “You can never cross the ocean unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore." — Christopher Columbus

The aforementioned quote speaks to courage. It takes courage to leave your home, to admit someone has been hurting you. Thank you so much for the donation to support Forbes House, for helping to keep survivors AFLOAT.
Apologies for not acknowledging sooner.

Post Chinese Auction - Gratitude

Please welcome another member of the elite, year five contributors. Thank you Marco’s Pizza (Mentor on the Lake & Chardon). Each year when I visit for a donation you are busy serving your customers, but each year you find a way to fit us in. It means more than you may know to Forbes House, the survivors and to the Gray Riders. Thank you.

Post Chinese Auction - Gratitude

If all the donations were not absolutely wonderful, I would say “saving the best for last” The gem posted below is spectacular! It was created by Dawn Fisher Kaschalk, who we fondly call the “Quilt Lady” (more like a master seamstress). It is made from Harley Davidson shirts & most certainly raised monies for Forbes House. Thank you Dawn for your unbelievable talent and for creating the quilt for Chrissy Matthews, who we also love and appreciate. Well done⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Post Chinese Auction - Gratitude

Dear Great Harvest Bread Co. it is
always nice to conclude with gratitude. As is the case here. While the donation was picked up on the 14th, we had to set up that evening and start the event early on the 15th, so the post was delayed. Late but none the less meaningful. Thank you so much for the donation to support Forbes House.
