ADOPTED: Freddie is finally home! 💖

After losing his beloved brother Augie, we hoped that Freddie would find a family who would love him completely, and with any luck, might also find another kitty to be friends with. We are overjoyed to share that he has found both!

Freddie’s new family took great care introducing him to their wonderful kitty, Ted. They gave both boys plenty of time and space and allowed the friendship to develop slowly. It worked like a charm: Freddie and Ted are now buddies who play and snuggle together (often on a human’s lap) and can share space with ease.

And as if finding a new best friend wasn’t enough, Ted and Freddie even look like they could be brothers! It means so much to us to see Freddie form a new bond with a cat who loves him right back.

Freddie is exactly where we wanted him to be: in his forever home, deeply loved, with a kitty friend by his side. This is a dream come true.

Happy life, sweet Freddie! We’re so happy for you! 💕💕💕

👑 MEET QUEEN NALA: All Hail the Queen of Cuddles!

Queen Nala is regal, elegant, and deeply devoted to her subjects (aka humans). Nala adores people and would happily spend her days snuggling with you and soaking up affection.

Nala loves being gently brushed, playing with toys, eating snacky-snacks, and getting involved in anything that doesn't require a cat. Doing laundry? Nala can "help." Making the bed? She definitely can "help." Sitting down? Your lap is now hers. More than anything, though, Nala is loving and sweet. She's a gentle girl who loves being close to her people and will happily settle in for all the pets you're willing to give.

Her Majesty does have one royal decree: if you are a non-human, please respect her personal space. Nala doesn't start trouble with other cats, but she wants them to keep a polite distance. She's especially unimpressed by any cat attempting to share her food, her toys, or her human's lap. She'll let them know with some royal grumbling that their presence has been noted and their retreat would be appreciated.

For that reason, Nala would be happiest as the only kitty in her realm, where she can relax and enjoy all the attention for herself. It's possible she may also be comfortable sharing a home with one calm, independent cat who isn't interested in being her friend and is happy to respect her space. However, this would require a very slow, supervised and gentle adjustment period.

Nala has been longing for a loving forever home for such a long time. If your home is missing a queen, we happen to know one who is accepting applications for loyal subjects. 👑❤️

🌧️ UPDATE: THEY’RE STILL WAITING… 💔🐾

After the loud thunderstorms that rolled through, **this mama and her babies are still out there in the brush—waiting for someone to come for them.**

They are hungry. They are vulnerable. And they have nowhere safe to go.

We desperately want to pull this little family to safety, but **we need a foster home first.** ❤️‍🩹

And they are not alone.

**There are so many kittens and mama cats living on the streets right now who need help.** Every day, we see another family trying to survive the elements, hunger, illness, predators and the dangers of the streets.

We cannot save them without foster homes.

**YOU could be the reason this family never has to sleep outside again.**

❤️ Star and Freddie are still waiting.

Star is a gentle, quiet soul who just needs a little patience before her loving personality begins to shine. Freddie is a playful, affectionate boy with a heart as big as his love for snacks.

Our greatest wish is to see them experience what every cat deserves: a home where they are loved, safe, and part of a family for the rest of their lives.

**FOUND CAT** - Geneseo, NY

This girl was found back on 5/23/26 in the area of Nations Rd & Roots Tavern Rd. She is an orange female, very sweet and friendly. And she is microchipped, but apparently no owner info. If you recognize her or have any information on who may be missing her, please contact the finder directly via [email protected] or 585-3zero9-5eight12. Thanks for sharing!

❤️ A Happy Rescue Update ❤️

Not every cat we help comes through our shelter doors. Foster caregivers provide love and a safe home environment for kittens until their forever families find them. A few months ago, three kittens in foster care found something truly special when they were adopted together. We recently received an update, and it absolutely made our day.

Kairi, Koby and Nami were about 5 months old when they were adopted. Their new family gave them time to adjust plus loads of love, and now each kitten has blossomed:

🐾 Kairi, once the shyest, now seeks out affection and lets her family know when she's ready for pets.

🐾 Koby has grown into a playful, energetic boy who loves fetch, zoomies, and playing with the family's older cat.

🐾 Nami is the littlest and she loves to play and drag toys around. She's also more independent and prefers to be with her human when her siblings are somewhere else in the house.

Rescue is truly a community effort. It takes fosters willing to open their homes, supporters who share our posts and spread awareness, donors who make rescue and medical care possible, and of course: adopters who open their hearts and homes.

To Kairi, Koby, and Nami's forever family: thank you for loving them. And to the foster who cared for them until the perfect family came along: thank you for giving them the chance to reach this happy ending. ❤️
