The *Geneseo Community Players* are excited to announce auditions for an upcoming New Works Readers' Theater production. We are seeking a talented, multi-generational cast for a poignant and moving new one-act play: MY NAME IS EDWARD FOSTER written by Jacob French and directed by Bettina DeBell.
About the Play:
Edward Foster is a happy-go-lucky man living with Alzheimer’s. As time passes, tensions arise across three generations of his family.

Character Breakdown:
Edward: 70s, m: a man with Alzheimer’s
Betty: 70s, f: Edward's caring wife who struggles to acknowledge the gravity of Edward's condition
Lauren: 30s, f: Edward and Betty's loving, yet sometimes overbearing daughter
Isabella: 10-13, f: Lauren’s daughter, Edward and Betty’s granddaughter, who is caught in the middle of family tensions she doesn't quite understand
Trevor: 30s, m: Lauren's partner who uses humor as a defense mechanism, often to a fault
Janet & Others: 60s, f: A neighbor, and several other characters
Rehearsal & Performance Schedule:
* *Rehearsals:* Monday, June 22nd; Wednesday, June 24th; and Thursday, June 25th at *6:00 PM* each night.
* *Performance:* Friday, June 26th at *7:30 PM*.
