Cordelia Lutheran Church

Cordelia Lutheran Church Non-profit Lutheran Heritage Site Cordelia Lutheran is the oldest Lutheran building in the State of Idaho (established in 1883). Peter Carlson. of the jct.

The church was home to the first Swedish congregation in Idaho, organized in 1880 by Rev. The congregation was known as "The Swedish Evangelical Lutheran Congregation, Cordelia, Nez Perce County, Idaho Territory" but history has shortened it to Cordelia Lutheran. Next Cordelia Summer concert is September 13 at 2 pm. Rob Ely on hammer dulcimer, Deborah Collins on harpsichord and Jill Freuden singing vocals. Come and enjoy music inside the historic church.
