Congratulations to Jenna and Jorja Kling on earning their State FFA Degree!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Jenna and Jorja as the first members in our chapter’s history to earn this prestigious honor. Their dedication, hard work, and commitment to agriculture and FFA have set a remarkable example for future members.

The State FFA Degree is one of the highest honors a state association can bestow upon its members. To earn this degree, members must demonstrate outstanding leadership, active participation in FFA activities, complete significant agricultural coursework, maintain a successful Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) program, invest or earn substantial funds through their SAE, and meet rigorous membership and achievement requirements.

Jenna and Jorja’s accomplishments reflect years of perseverance, service, and excellence. We are excited to celebrate this milestone with them and look forward to seeing all they accomplish in the future!

Day 3 was packed with excitement and unforgettable memories! We started the day at the Suspense Games which always get our brains thinking. Jenna and Jorja had the honor of attending the State Degree Recipient Reception, while members also participated in engaging workshops throughout the day. We wrapped up the evening on the dance floor and having our chapter reflections. It was a long day, but every moment was worth it!

We made it yesterday to the 97th Louisiana FFA State Convention & Expo and have hit the ground running! Between sessions, workshops, meeting new friends, and spending quality time together as a chapter, it’s already been an incredible experience.

Yesterday we were recognized for our 2025 National Chapter Award for a 2 Star Chapter⭐️,
and today we were honored to be recognized for the Livestock Exhibition Award, earning both Superior and Silver honors! We wrapped up the night enjoying the Mike Broussard concert and making even more great memories together. 💙🎶🐄

We are so thankful to everyone who came out last Wednesday to celebrate our student's success at our annual End of the Year FFA Banquet. Our students reached new heights this year and we are so proud of all they were able to accomplish! We are excited to see how this chapter will continue to grow in the future.

If you were unable to attend our Plant Sale & Farmer's Market this past Saturday, we will have the greenhouse open today and tomorrow from 2:35-4:00PM for anyone who would like to come purchase some of our plants!
