Gazelle Grange #380 / Community Hall

Gazelle Grange #380 / Community Hall Grange board meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month 6:00 pm. Bingo is held 1st Fridays of each month starting at 6:30 pm.

The community of Gazelle is located in Siskiyou County, California, a frontier community with a population of approximately 300. The Gazelle Grange was organized on April 6, 1917 with 4 major objectives: advocacy for farmers and rural dwellers, family togetherness, community services, and non-partisan legislative action. The mission of the Gazelle Grange is to support family and community through

leadership. Gazelle Grange is affiliated with the greater grange organization on county, state and national levels. Home to the local grange organization, this building has become the heart of Gazelle and surroundings communities. Among the many public services provided by the organization, it maintains this building so as to provide a meeting place for weddings and receptions, funeral memorials, bingo, local 4-H functions, neighborhood watch, and community forums such as the DARE program and political candidates debates. It serves as the area's Disaster Preparedness Shelter and gymnasium for the Gazelle Elementary School. Many annual events also take place here such as the community Thanksgiving and St. Patrick's Day dinners, the Gazelle Church's community dinner, and Gazelle Fire Department's fund-raiser dinner/auction.
