The chill in the air means its time for us to start layering up this time of year. We want to help folks do that very thing economically and help others free up closet space at the same time. It's a win, win all the way around. We are currently in need of winter and cool weather clothing. Coats, sweaters, sweats, stocking caps, gloves, mittens, boots, heavy socks, and anything else you might happen to run across to warm the head, hands, or feet of a neighbor.

We will be open this Wednesday afternoon from 1:30 till 4PM for those who wish to peruse out ever changing selection of vestments and accouterments despite the frigid temperatures here in Southwest Wisconsin. Sorry to say though that we will again be closed this Saturday the 13th, but again be open with our normal Saturday morning hours the following week.

Coats, jackets, parkas, sweaters and sweatpants are high demand items this time of year here at The Appleland Clothes Closet. We rely on clothing donations to stock our store and all monies collected through the sale of items are used solely to pay our rent and minimal operating expenses. We are very happy to be able to find new homes for these garments at an incredibly low price (coats $1 and everything else 50 cents) for these many years. So next time you feel the need to free up some closet space we will happily take any gently used clothing off of your hands and find a smiling, warmer owner for them!
