With the snow gone, and the flowers blooming we spent the weekend celebrating the accomplishments of our patrol.

Congratulations to:
Wendy received a Central Division Distinguished Service award for all of her accomplishments over the last 50+ years of patrolling.

Jim Blanzy: Section 2 Patroller of the year

Congrats to all the winners, it is truly humbling to see so many people in the same place that have a love for snow sports and giving back to the skiing community.

Thank you to Otsego Resort for hosting the Northern Michigan Region of the National Ski Patrol Awards banquet.

While everyone else is putting their skis away, we're suiting up for something bigger.

What a season it's been! 🎿⛷️❄️

As we close out another incredible winter, we just want to stop and say THANK YOU From the bottom of our snow-loving hearts.

To our amazing snowmaking crew, grooming team, and lift operators:

You are the unsung heroes of every perfect run, every bluebird day, and every "just one more lap" moment. You showed up early, stayed late, and kept this mountain running like a dream. We see you, we appreciate you, and honestly? We couldn't do any of this without you. 💪🏔️

To every single skier and rider who came out this season

YOU are what makes this place magic. Whether you were carving groomers, sending it in the park, or pizza-wedging down the bunny hill for the very first time, thank you for sharing the stoke with us. Having you on the mountain is the whole reason we do what we do. 🤙

A huge shoutout to Brad and the Treetops Resort leadership team for their continued partnership and support, we're grateful to have you in our corner!

Ski patrolling is part mountaineering, part triage, and part guest services. It’s the toughest job you’ll ever love.

Professional patrollers need strong alpine, telemark, or snowboarding skills—and the stamina to ski every day, all winter long. Blizzard or subzero temperatures, hardpack or wind-blown crud, they’re out there.
