🌟 Volunteered at Camp Sertoma Today! 🌟

Spent a great day helping out at Camp Sertoma at Confidence Learning Center! From helping with lunch and dinner to supporting the awesome campers. These campers are deaf or hard of hearing.

We love to have fun at Sertoma!

Today we celebrated Garfield Eckberg’s 89th birthday in style! We wore party hats, enjoyed cupcakes at 7 a.m., and sang Happy Birthday to Garfield. The singing was especially lively (and maybe a little better than usual!). Just a reminder — if we’re too off-key, it’s a $0.25 fine!

🌱 Sertoma Club of Ga***rd – Sustainable Agriculture Spotlight 🌱

He shared how the industry has changed dramatically — with MN losing nearly 75% of its dairies over the past two decades — while highlighting modern large-scale operations, methane digesters that turn manure into energy, recycled bedding, university partnerships for vet training, shifts to Jersey breeds for better cheese production, and the rise of beef-dairy crossbreeding.

It was a fascinating look at innovation and consolidation in one of Minnesota’s key ag sectors. Great discussion!
