This webinar will be run by Mei Stukes and her team, they will share how this new resource can be used by Crews to enhance your local program.
Mei Christine Stukes previously served as the Venturing Program Helps Task Force Chair and currently serves as the National Venturing Committee Training Lead. She has a strong passion for training youth and adults in Scouting America and currently serves on Scouting U as the NYLT and Wood Badge Course Director Conference Liaison, ensuring leaders are equipped to make a meaningful difference.
Mei served as the Colonial Virginia Council NYLT Course Director in 2021, has staffed three Wood Badge courses, and most recently served on NAYLE SBR staff in 2025. In 2023, she facilitated the Kodiak Challenge and Powder Horn Course Directors Conferences at the National Scout Jamboree, reaching hundreds of participants.
Her recognitions include GSUSA’s highest volunteer honor, the Thanks Badge II, the Citizens’ Unity Award, The Methodist Church Flame and Cross Award, District Award of Merit, Council Venturing Leadership Award (VLA), a Doctorate Degree in University of Scouting, and Advisor of the Year (2018).
Professionally, Mei serves as the Scout Program Coordinator at the Virginia Air & Space Science Center and NASA Langley Visitor Center in Hampton, Virginia.
A member of the Colonial Virginia Council, she is the Advisor of Venturing Crew 1151. Mei has also been appointed by several civic organizations to represent youth advocacy and special education initiatives.
