Hello. A few updates in McMinn County:
Today is our County Council Meeting Picnic at 6 pm. Spouses and friends are welcome. It is our Fashion R***e and our program is Morning Star Ministries in Athens.
For our Eastern Region: Cultural Arts and Fashion R***e result forms are due to Regional Chairs by Sept. 1. TN Valley Fair is Sept. 15. This is Senior Day as well as FCE Day (Jacob's Bldg.) You get in free!! Your ext. agent can get you a parking pass.
Our Fall Event is Sept. 22 in Roane Co. at Kingston Community Center. All Paperwork and money is due for TAFCE State conference Treasurer by Oct. 1.
2027 dues are due Oct. 1 to County Treasurer and club list with officers is due Oct. 15 to County President.

To all, we wish to remind you that 50-year member information is due by July 1. Normally sent to VP of Programs but she is so busy with conference so send Regional President. The info is in your Yearbook.
It seems few of our counties have reported their 2025 volunteer hours (CVU's) to the VP of Public Policy. Since we must report to the state by July 1, our time is getting quite short.

I know many of you are very busy in your communities helping in various ways. Please report your CVU hours and people reached (we know that is often an estimate) ASAP so the Eastern Region recognizes all your hard work. These accumulated hours also serve to show our state and county governments the value of our efforts. This value is useful for securing funding for expanded building spaces and staff for our partner UT Extension and the county offices that serve us.
