National Parks Conservation Association and Safe Passage are at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee, this weekend. 🎶 During the first day alone, approximately 700 festival-goers signed postcards addressed to U.S. Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy asking him to prioritize wildlife crossings in federal transportation policy.

Spend time with your local conservation community and learn more about Smokies Safe Passage, one of SAHC’s critical partnerships focused on wildlife connectivity. You do not need to participate in trivia if you don’t want to. Annual donors and active volunteers are considered members of SAHC and form the foundation of our conservation work!

Yee-Haw Brewing is located in the heart of downtown Johnson City, in the historic Tweetsie train station. In-house food options are available, as well as White Duck Taco Shop, which shares the space. Beer, wine, liquor, and non-alcoholic options are available. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the venue.

Join us for the Smokies BearWise Open House on Wednesday, March 18 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Rocky Top Sports World - Gatlinburg, TN in Gatlinburg.

This event is FREE and OPEN to the public and aims to educate residents, businesses, and visitors about living and recreating responsibly to keep bears wild and people safe.

There will be special presentations by the TWRA and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

This event is hosted by Smokies BearWise Task Force, the City of Gatlinburg, Gatlinburg Police Department, and the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) and BearWise.
