Congratulations Carly! We are so excited to see the next generation of agriculture in Gates County! 🎉

Gates County Farm Bureau is proud to announce Carly Cowper as the recipient of its 2026 scholarship, awarded to support local students pursuing careers in agriculture. Carly, a dedicated high school senior, will be attending North Carolina State University this fall to pursue a degree in Animal Science.

Carly has a deep-rooted passion for agriculture, working alongside her family on their poultry operation. Her commitment to animal science extends beyond her family farm, as she has also dedicated numerous hours to shadowing veterinary practices, gaining valuable insights into animal care and husbandry.

Gates County Farm Bureau congratulates Carly Cowper on her achievements and wishes her the best as she embarks on this exciting new chapter in her educational journey.
