Gates County Farm Bureau is creating a 2027 Calendar featuring photographs taken throughout Gates County. We are looking for high-quality images that capture the people, farms, crops, livestock, wildlife, and landscapes that make our agricultural community unique.
Selected photos will be featured in the calendar, which will be sold as a fundraiser to support agricultural enrichment in Gates County Public Schools. If your photo is chosen, you will receive a free calendar!
Contest rules:
-Photos must be taken in Gates County, NC.
-All photos must be landscape.
-Photos can be historical, including black and white, but must be high resolution.
--If people are clearly identifiable in the photo, you are responsible for obtaining their permission.
-By submitting, you grant Gates County Farm Bureau permission to use your photo in the calendar and for future Farm Bureau promotional materials, with photographer credit whenever practical.
-All submissions must be entered by October 31st, 2026.
For those having issues with the Google Form you can email your photos to [email protected].
In your email, please include:
1. Your Name
2. Where was the photo taken? (Farm name, community, road, or general location)
3. When was the photo taken? (best estimate is okay)
4. A brief Description of the Photo
5. Would you like your photographer credit to appear as: (Your full name, Business/Farm name, or both)
6. This statement: "I grant Gates County Farm Bureau permission to use this image in the Gates County Farm Bureau Calendar and other promotional materials without compensation."
