School is almost out for the summer; now what? We have compiled a list of free or almost free activities for you and your children this summer! Check it out!
1. Kid's Fishing Day at Warriors Path, June 13th from 9-12. This is a FREE event; all children up to age 15 will receive free lunch, fishing pole, tackle box, and trophy just for participating. Pre-register by emailing [email protected]; she will need your child's name and age, as well the name of the parent or guardian.
2. Scott County Library's Summer reading program opens up registration on June 4th from 10:30-6:00. The Reading Program will be from June 9-July 23 and will feature various fun activities.
3. This one is for the older children! Planet Fitness is offering a free High School Summer Pass to kids ages 14-19.
4. Warpath Lanes is offering 2 free games of bowling per day, per child aged 2-15. Sign up at kidsbowlfree.com
5. Lowes and Home Depot offer kids workshops on Saturdays. Check out their respective websites for the details.
6. Blue Cross Healthy Place at Riverwalk Park is a new facility offering 2 playgrounds, a splash pad, pickleball courts, restrooms, and more. Located at 125 Barton Street, Kingsport, TN.
