Hear Ye, Hear Ye! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making today's event a successful one! Kevin Barnett had a vision to create a Ren Fair in Gate City. This idea bloomed into a truly incredible day!

We had close to 40 vendors and an estimated 900+ people attended today! WOW!

Special things to the Friends group, all of the volunteers, The Campus Drive In, Ballad Health, Rotary of Scott County, The Spring Church, MEOC, Gate City United Methodist Church, and the Scott County Public Library.

Thank you to all of the vendors! Special thanks to everyone who showed up today. We hope you had an amazing time and are looking forward to next year!

There will be some parking at Grogan Park and overflow parking at the Gate City United Methodist Church and the Spring Church. Handicap parking is available at Grogan Park.

MEOC will be running a shuttle.

Admission is $1 and you will receive a wrist band. Children under 5 are free.

Food trucks: J Mac's, The Cluck Truck and Drippy Cone.

There will be a drawing every hour for a sword! Tickets are $5 each for the swords. Everything else is free to attend.

We'll have some cutting-edge entertainment at the Renaissance Faire this weekend thanks to Everblade Academy! Come see them this Saturday, August 29, in Grogan Park at 12:00 PM, where they will be featuring the FIRST female gladiatrix event in North America, sword demonstrations, and fire spinning!🤺⚔🔥

Overflow parking will be available on Saturday at the Spring Church and the Gate City United Methodist Church in Gate City, VA. Shuttle service will be provided by MEOC from the overflow lots to the Renaissance Faire. Your chariot awaits! 🚐💨✨

We are now accepting donations for our annual book sale by our Friends of the Scott County Public Library ! This Book Sale helps fund our children's programs and library needs! Books must be gently used and without mold, tears, or water damage. Please make sure donated DVDs or CDs are in the right cases and work properly. We will also take video games, consoles, board games, and puzzles! Drop off donations at SCPL during business hours!

Note: We cannot take textbooks, encyclopedias, or religious texts.
