Today we join so many in mourning the passing of Dolly Parton.

As an Imagination Library partner, we’ve seen firsthand the magic Dolly created — a free book in the mailbox each month that sparks wonder, builds confidence, and helps children fall in love with reading.

Dolly believed every child deserves books, and that belief is still changing lives right here in our community. While our hearts are saddened, we are committed to keeping her legacy alive by continuing to get books into the hands of kids across our communities.

If you’d like to honor Dolly, consider enrolling a child in Imagination Library, donate to support the program, or read a book to a little one today. 📖

Rest in peace, Dolly. 🕊️ Thank you for inspiring generations of readers. 📚

Have you ever participated in an AppCAA program or service? If so, you should have received an email invitation to complete our Community Needs Assessment Survey.

This survey is completely optional, but your feedback helps us better understand the needs, challenges, and priorities of the communities we serve. The information gathered will help guide future programs and services throughout our region.

If you did not receive the email, we've included the survey link with this post so you can participate here as well.

Thank you for helping us build stronger communities!
