Tonight we said thank you and we said welcome.

To our outgoing President, Wally Black — thank you for an incredible year of leadership. You didn't just run meetings, you reminded us why we show up: to serve. Your steady push on service projects and fundraising kept our club active, generous, and focused on people right here in Gaston County. We are better because you led.

And to our incoming President for 2026-2027, Steve Fridley — we officially swore you in tonight and we couldn't be more excited for what's ahead. Your heart for Rotary and for this community is clear, and we are ready to follow your lead.

Thank you, Wally, for leaving the club stronger than you found it. Congratulations, Steve — let's get to work.

Congratulations to Stephanie Hartman, our 2025–2026 Distinguished Rotarian of the Year!

A third-generation Rotarian, Stephanie has been instrumental in advancing our club’s mission through her leadership of fundraising and grant-writing efforts. Her work has helped sustain and grow our signature service project, Birthday Bags for Webb Street School, ensuring students have the opportunity to celebrate their special day.

Stephanie’s dedication, service, and commitment to our community exemplify the Rotary motto of Service Above Self. We are proud to recognize her with this well-deserved honor.

💙💛 Congratulations, Stephanie!
