The Highland Neighborhood Association held a “Social in the Garden.” Community members and members of the Myrtle School Community Association were invited to come for an evening of fellowship, enjoy great weather and a great meal! Healthy Highland Enterprise/RAMS Kitchen Team Member also provided educational information about Highland Micro Farm!

🏙️ City of Gastonia Seeks Residents to Help Shape Future Development

The City of Gastonia is inviting residents to take part in the rewrite of its Unified Development Ordinance (UDO), which helps guide development standards and future growth throughout the city.

Residents can get involved by applying to serve on the project’s Steering Committee or by participating in upcoming focus groups. City leaders say community input will play an important role in making sure updated development regulations reflect the needs and priorities of Gastonia residents.

📅 Application deadline: October 18, 2026

The city encourages residents interested in Gastonia’s future growth, development and planning to learn more about the UDO rewrite and opportunities to participate.
