Ashbrook, UNC grad joins documentary project

Michael Koledin, owner of Miller and Kasper on Main Street, was our speaker on May 6. He spoke about the process of starting a new business in downtown Gastonia. Michael is a former Optimist, and we hope to get him as a member to our club. He also presented us with coupons for sandwiches, and we all like to eat. Thanks again, Michael, and we hope to see you again soon.

On April 29th, Jim Cookson, a consultant to Gaston Chamber of Commerce, gave us an update on the future of the Garden Parkway Project. This project is controversial, and the update gave us some good information. Thank you, Jim.
