During the last several meetings our cadets have been learning patrol techniques. Last night the cadets were given several scenarios and responded to calls based off what they have learned so far.

Earlier this week our group had our end of year Christmas Party. Cadets could wear their “civilian” clothes for the party. We ate dinner, enjoyed a lot sweets brought by the cadets and their families and played the Christmas gift swap game.

During this party we recognized Cadets Price and Jefferies for completing Survival Weekend in October. They were presented with a ribbon to wear on their uniform. Not present was Cadet Welsh who also received this ribbon.

We also promoted Cadet Johnson to the rank of Sergeant! Cadet Sergeant Johnson has been with the group for over three years and has attended the Explorer/Cadet Academy at the North Carolina Justice Academy twice! She has completed both Basic and Advanced classes!

We are proud of all of our cadets and their hardwork and dedication to attending meetings, volunteering for events and willingness to learn about law enforcement!

We look forward to an exciting 2025!
