Guardians of the Children - Gastonia, NC Chapter The Members of GOC are charged with using their individual and collective resources to aid the victims of abuse and neglect.

The Gastonia Chapter of Guardians of the Children was chartered in November 2010 by a dedicated group of diverse individuals who saw the need to educate and assist our community to the affects of child abuse. If it is determined that if GOC can benefit a child, we will organize a ride to meet the child and through a ceremony bring the child into our organization. When needed, members may attend co

urt with our little friends. The sole purpose for our physical presence is to assist the child in being less intimidated and frightened while testifying against their abuser. As a body of Bikers, we help empower children to be courageous, even in the face of their ordeals. We stand ready to lend support to our little friends. GOC Members and Supporters are ordinary people who simply care about children. We are parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles. We enjoy the open road on our iron horses and are here to spread the important message of "No More Child Abuse". The Members of GOC have taken an oath and will enforce with Valor, Truth and Integrity the Mission of this organization. GOC is not just one individual force fighting against child abuse. GOC is a brotherhood of motorcycle enthusiasts banded together for the same cause-our children. Our association as bikers gives GOC unique qualifications to protect our children and the ability to call on resources that might not generally be available to the public at large. Our mission is to send a clear message to all who would abuse children that we are prepared to protect these children through our physical and emotional support. GOC does not condone the use of violence or physical force in any manner. However, if we as a group, or as an individual, must act to prevent the abuse of another child, we will do so. Are you ready for the GOC Gastonia & tomorrow? We look forward to seeing you all at The Family Pizzagalli 9am-2pm for delicious pizza, a fun nerd-out seeing everyone's show cars, bikes, and trucks, crafty vendors... all for a great cause .

*For the purposes of this event, we are counting Jeeps under the Truck category.

Come join us for the Fall Car and Bike Show at Pizzagalli, in Bessemer City, NC. Registration begins at 9am. Entry fees are $10 for show bikes and $20 for show vehicles, winners take home trophies. Free admission to the public. Enjoy vendors, fun, prizes, and good food!

We remember Hippy (Randy Randolph).

Come join us at his Celebration of Life tomorrow, Saturday April 11th at the Trinity Church Barn at 119 Kristie Lane, Kings Mountain, NC 28086 at 2:30pm.

Members of GOC Gastonia will be escorting Hippy's white Harley to the church.

Celebration of life for our beloved “Scarecrow” as I am posting this I remember the first time I met her. It was the night of the first GOC meeting I had ever attended and I was interested in joining. I sat outside on the stairs of a local restaurant where the meeting was being held and Scarecrow sat outside there with me for an hour telling me her life story and man was it a story to remember. She made me feel very welcomed and I have been here ever since. Please come out and help us celebrate such a wonderful life. We love you and miss you Scarecrow! When a child calls…WE RIDE!
