Its a good thing for all when we all work together. Mindy called me up one day with a lot of questions, anxiety and concerns. I gave her all the information and knowledge I had to offer. I also put her in contact with other Soundball organizations from other countries for additional information and advice. She put it all together and now she is off and running with a successful organization of her own. Congratulations Mindy, keep up the good work.

I saw this young man a few times at local 12 and under tournaments all before he started using the wheel chair. I was so impressed and inspired by his tennis skills and attitude. We should all take a lesson from this, that no matter what life hands you you make the most if it and Conner has.

Here we have two of our players, Renee Abernathy and Bobby Hedgpath , doing a little cross training. While attending Camp Dogwood (Overnight Summer camp for the visually impaired) this week they do a little Kayaking on lake Norman with the help of Dana Draa.

Hello Everyone, unfortunately the first training session in Charlotte this Saturday, June 27th needs to be rescheduled. A few of the players that where expected to come had transportation issues or where sick. Let's plan for another day . I will post a new date as soon as find a suitable day.

Remember, our goal at Soundball Tennis is to be a fun and welcoming activity for blind and partially sighted people as well as a chance to improve fitness and to develop a skill and participate competitively. New players are always welcome. Please email us at [email protected] if interested in joining our class or need additional information. Have a great July 4th weekend!
