A few photos from my weekend at the Jane Austen Festival in Florida. Jane just had her 250th Birthday! Just a little older than our Independence! I always found it strange, as an American, that Jane never mentions America or the former colonies in any of her novels but does have many military men as characters. General Tilney in Northanger Abbey definitely was of an age to have fought in the revolution. Things that make you go Hummmmm...... -Jennifer
