******Post a lil lengthy******
God always have you in the right place at the right time. I was going across town but Myri was screaming grandma look. I’m saying no but as I’m passing the establishment that still voice had me all kind of wrong whipping into the parking lot
Meet J. He’s the young man that MADT purchased school supplies and clothes for to start his 4th grade year off. When I met J, it didn’t take long to know he was an awesome kid. In having conversation, 2 things I learned very quickly. He loves his mom and he enjoys church. J talked about a lot and also expressed somethings he likes. So I asked what grade he’s going to and if he enjoy going to school. He said yes. What’s your favorite class? I think he said math and science. Are you ready for school? Not really. Finally, I met his mom and I told her I have a nonprofit, told her the name and explained to her what I aspire to do. I asked if I could help with J’s supplies and clothes. She looked at me as if I was a whole joke. I starred back and said it’s a simple yes or no. At that moment she sat across from me asked if I was serious. When I replied yes, I know you don’t know me so this is where the trust comes in. Tears rolled down her face, she looked at me and thanked God. She said to me you have no idea how rough this year has been for me. I gave her my number to text me J’s size and school he’s going to be attending. I’ll get his school list from web.
Thanks again to everyone that donated and my hubby that gave up his Saturday to help. Because of your selflessness I’m able to do what I love!
I received several videos and a warm heartfelt thank text. They really touched my heart and the appreciation was felt. I can’t thank you all enough. Much love 🩷
