🏈💚🖤 ASHBROOK GREEN WAVE ALL-STAR PRIDE! 🏈🏆 A huge congratulations to AJ McClain ( #8), Quarterback, and Jaydin Phillips ( #71), Offensive Lineman, for being selected to represent Ashbrook High School on the 2026 North Carolina East-West All-Star Football Team! These two outstanding student-athletes have shown tremendous dedication, hard work, leadership, and determination on and off the football field. Being selected among North Carolina's best high school football players is a tremendous honor and a reflection of the talent coming out of Ashbrook High School in Gastonia, North Carolina. From representing the GREEN WAVE to earning statewide recognition, these young men are making their families, teammates, coaches, school, and entire community proud! THE HARD WORK PAID OFF! ⚽💚🖤🌊 IT’S GAME WEEK, GREEN WAVE NATION! The Ashbrook Green Wave Boys Varsity Soccer Team is gearing up for another exciting week of conference action, and we need our Green Wave family to show up and support these hardworking young men! The action kicks off Monday, October 19, 2026, at 6:30 PM, as Ashbrook travels to South Point High School to battle the Red Raiders in an important away matchup! Then, on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 6:30 PM, our Green Wave return home to Ashbrook High School to take on the Crest Chargers! These young athletes continue to demonstrate dedication, determination, teamwork, and perseverance every time they step onto that soccer field. Regardless of the records or challenges throughout the season, what matters most is their willingness to compete, improve, and represent Ashbrook High School with pride! Every game is another opportunity to grow, build confidence, and finish the season strong. We encourage our students, parents, alumni, and the entire Green Wave community to get behind these young men and show them that their hard work doesn't go unnoticed! Get ready for an exciting Thursday night of JV football as the Ashbrook Green Wave (3-5) prepare to defend their home turf against the Crest Chargers (7-1) on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 7:00 PM at Ashbrook High School! This is more than just a football game; it's an opportunity for our young athletes to showcase their determination, dedication, teamwork, and love for the game. Records don't determine the heart of a team, and every time these young men step onto that field, they have another opportunity to prove themselves. It's not always about how you start, but how you finish! It's almost time to hit the hardwood! The Ashbrook High School Green Wave Basketball 2026–2027 schedule is officially here, and we're looking forward to another exciting season of basketball! From the opening game against Clover High School on November 10 to some big conference matchups against Kings Mountain, South Point, Forestview, Hunter Huss, North Gaston, and Crest, our Green Wave will be ready to compete! This season is about more than just basketball. It's about teamwork, discipline, dedication, school pride, and representing Ashbrook High School with excellence both on and off the court. We encourage our students, families, alumni, and the entire Green Wave community to come out, pack the stands, and support these young athletes throughout the season.
