African American Quilt Guild of Gaston County at Unity Place The African American Quilt Guild of Gaston County was organized in 2005. The Christian mission of the Guild is to encourage the love of quilting.

As quilters, we enjoy sharing the love of quilting thru helping in the community, such as the sick, the homeless shelter, and anyone in need of a warm quilt. Our goal is also to preserve the art of quilting within the community. Our official motto is:
"I can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13
Membership is open to all regardless of race, creed, or religious affiliat

ion who express an interest in the art of quilting. We meet each 4th Saturday at Unity Place in Gastonia, NC. There are no membership dues.
