PET BEREAVEMENT/LOSS and GRIEF SUPPORT!!!

Mark your calendar 🗓 for our next Pet Loss and Grief Support meeting.

Saturday morning, September 12th, beginning at 10:30 am.

Location is The Pointe Church, 6700 Wilkinson Blvd, Belmont NC 28012

Our pet loss and grief support meetings are absolutely “free” and open to “any” pet owner, regardless of when your loss occurred.

Attendance is limited and PREREGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

"Dora

Dora is a 7 year old DSH.

This is what shelter staff says, "All Dora wants to find is some love and attention. She is so happy to see people and wont stop rubbing her face against her kennel when there is someone in the room. The only way to get her to stop is to give her your hand to rub up against instead."

Dora's adoption fees are sponsored by The Carlee Cause Foundation with support from Giving With Grace Foundation and she is currently housed at Gaston County Animal Care and Enforcement.

Welcome our newest “Seniors For Life” sweetheart to the adoption floor.
"Tink”

Tink is a 5 year old Terrier mix.

This is what shelter staff says, "Tink came in to us hurt and afraid. In spite of the pain from the gash on her side she showed us nothing but sweetness. Tink enjoys hanging out with other dogs but does not like to be rough and rowdy about it, just kind of chill in the same space. Tink is smart and picks up on training easily. She very much loves to be with her people without needing to be on top of you all the time."

Truffle is a 6 year old Terrier mix.

This is what shelter staff says, "Truffle enjoys being next to someone receiving pets as often as possible. She is gentle and affectionate to the max! Truffle is a bit more particular about her doggy friends than her people friends, but a calm friend who gives her her alone time suits her very well."

Gal is a 6 year old Husky mix.

This is what shelter staff says, "Gal Fieri was name for her frosted tips along her back. Making her matchy matchy with our favorite Diners, Drive ins, and Dives host. Gal is quite the conversationalist and staff love talking with her. Gal is a bit nervous at first with other dogs and in new situations. She will tell you about how she feels but other than that she just wants to head back to her comfort zone. She comes around quickly and unleashes her cute and quirky playful side."
