It’s that time again! Our 9th Annual IMUA Open Golf Tournament is coming up on Saturday, June 27th at Meriwether National Golf Club. We’ll kick things off with an 8:30 AM shotgun start, then wrap up with lunch and plenty of good company.

Here’s the scoop:

When: Saturday, June 27, 2026

Where: Meriwether National Golf Club

Start: 8:30 AM shotgun

Cost: $125 (includes 18 holes, cart, and range balls)

Lunch: After golf – included!

Every dollar goes to the Gaston Booster Club, supporting programs at Gaston Jr/Sr High School. It’s always a great day for a great cause, and we’d love to see you out there again.

THE IMUA OPEN

The IMUA OPEN was created in 2017 as a fundraiser to support Gaston JR/SR High School Athletics. Proceeds from the event will go to the improvement of the school’s athletic programs. With the funds raised the Athletics Department will be able to purchase quality equipment for our students, as well as, training for coaches to assist our athletes in reaching their full potential.

The word IMUA, was introduced to the Gaston community in the 1980’s by Mr. Henry Kaulia, also known as Coach K, who for two decades touched the lives of many students, IMUA in the Hawaiian language, means to move forward with strength, courage and a strong spirit. IMUA is also used to signify loyalty or to express a deep commitment to support a feeling, and idea, a person or a cause.
